City Light Residency Program

The City Light Church Residency Program is designed for individuals who desire hands-on ministry experience while making a meaningful contribution to the life of our church. This 12-24 month, full-time program provides immersive training, personal mentorship, and real-world leadership opportunities—all while equipping residents for a lifetime of faithful ministry.

How We Develop You for Ministry:

As a College Ministry Resident, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Engage in College Ministry Leadership – Plan and execute City Light College gatherings, coordinate retreats, and disciple students.

Develop a Presence in the Community – Spend three days a week at Chi Rho Coffee, building relationships and engaging with college students.

Support the Church Staff – Spend two days a week in the City Light Church office, contributing to ministry initiatives.

Evangelize & Disciple – Invest in the lives of college students through mentoring, outreach, and discipleship.

Serve on a Sunday Ministry Team – Get hands-on experience in various church ministries (worship, students, kids, etc.).

Participate in Leadership Development – Engage in staff meetings, leadership training, and personal mentorship.
