City Light College exists to help college students love Christ supremely, live for Christ sacrificially, and lead like Christ Strategically.
The Opportunity:
City Light Church is located directly across the street from High Point University, placing us in a unique position to reach one of the most strategic mission fields in our city. Each year, thousands of students arrive from across the country—many with little meaningful exposure to the gospel—and spend four years making life-shaping decisions about faith, relationships, career, and purpose.
God has opened an extraordinary door for City Light Church to reach and disciple these students.
The Need:
In our first year, City Light College grew from 7 students to an average attendance of 55, with 5 discipleship groups, approximately 100 students attending Sunday worship, and 5 professions of faith in Christ—all without a College Pastor.
To steward this opportunity and develop the next generation of gospel leaders, City Light Church is seeking funding for a full-time College Pastor.
